TECHNICIAN METERING

Salary: Post level T11 – Between: R263 088.00 p.a. and R341 484.00 p.a.

Responsibilities would involve the following: responsible for metering installations and ensure that it is operational and maintained in compliance with National Standards * Keeping of statistics for reporting to NERSA and SDBIP * operating of medium voltage switchgear * maintain load control system * ensure compliance of all meter suppliers with general standards by batch testing of meters * co-ordinate the meter test function * perform quality of supply task to determine compliance with NER and NRS 048 * must do standby duty * other duties as requested from time to time.
