- Water and waste water planning and enhancement technologies
ENGINEERING SERVICES: PLANNING OF INFRASTRUCTURE
- Upgrading/ Updating of Master planning for water, sewer, storm water and road networks.
- Responsible for the liaison between developer and municipality to make sure agreement is in place for specific engineering services
- Studying implement new technologies
- Limits water loss
- Small scale civil engineering projects implementation.
- Assist town planning regarding applications received for rezoning, etc.
- Planning and implement of multiyear projects ensuring correct execution and project management.
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES/ DISASTER MANAGEMENT
- Guidance to operate nature conservation areas
- Liaison with public and conservation related Government dept.
- Fire and Disaster Management
- Noise and air pollution monitoring in liaison with sector department
- Baboon monitoring
- Pruning of trees
WATER; WASTE AND SOLID WASTE
- Water and waste water mainly involves the treatment of potable water and subsequently the waste water
- Solid waste management planning involves planning of solid waste facilities as well as initiations.
ELECTRICTITY
- Supplying reliable, affordable and cost effective electricity.
