SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR: LOGISTICS (SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT) - CALEDON

Description
The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a Senior Certificate with accounting or mathematics one of the subjects (certified copy must be attached) with four (4) years relevant experience. Must be computer literate (MS Word / Excel / Outlook). Must have the ability to work under pressure with excellent time management skills. A valid Code B driver’s license. Be able to communicate in at least two (2) of the three (3) official languages in the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa.
DIRECTOR: TECHNICAL SERVICES AND PLANNING

Description
In order to meet the needs of the Theewaterskloof Municipality, the successful applicant will conform to the following:
* At least a B.Tech Degree or a relevant technical qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework at a NQF level 7 with a minimum of 360 credits * 5 years’ experience at senior management level 3 – 4 years must have been attained at professional / management engineering environment. Compliance with Minimum Competency Regulations for Senior Managers of municipalities as is provided for in Regulation 493 dated 15 June 2007 within 18 months of being appointed. Competency as required in terms of the General Machinery Regulations, 1988 and Registration with a recognized relevant Engineering professional body will be an added advantage.

HOUSING DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Description
Requirements: The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a Senior Certificate (certified copy (proof) must be attached to the application form) with 3 years’ proven administrative experience in a municipal environment. Applicants with project management experience or experience in a housing environment will serve as a recommendation. A valid driver’s license. Be able to handle conflict. Must be computer literate. Excellent facilitation skills are essential. Good communication skills in at least two (2) of the three official languages of the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. The incumbent will be required to perform duties at the Greyton and Genadendal office on a weekly basis, as well as any other town within the Theewaterskloof Municipal area if and when there is an operational need.

Description
Minimum Requirements: The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate with at least 3 – 4 years’ experience in a civil / construction environment. Applicants must have supervisory skills. Be able to plan and schedule maintenance programmes. The eligible candidate must also be able to discipline subordinates. A valid driver’s license. Effective communication skills in at least two (2) of the three (3) official languages in the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. Must be willing to work overtime and do standby duty from time to time.
HOUSING QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER

Salary: Post level T11 – Between R263 088.00 p.a. and R341 484.00 p.a. plus an Essential Travel Allowance of R6517.94 per month subject to the conditions as stipulated in the Council’s Essential Travel Allowance Policy.
Description
The most eligible candidate must be in possession of an NQF5 (Technical “Artisan” qualification in concrete, bricklaying, carpentry or within the building industry) with three (3) years’ relevant experience in a housing or similar environment such as Construction Management Building; Building; Quantity Surveying and Architecture. Applicants must have the ability to read building plans and ensure that building works occur within the guidelines of the National Building Regulations and Standards Act, as well as the Health and Safety Act and the Norms and Standards of the National Housing Code. Be computer literate and have a valid Code B driver’s license. Be fluent in at least 2 of the 3 regional languages namely Afrikaans, English and Xhosa).
