Description

* Degree in Social Sciences / Public Administration / Law or Equivalent. * Minimum of 7 years’ experience at senior management and middle management level, of which at least 2 years must be at senior management level. The successful candidate will have to comply with Minimum Competency Regulations for Senior Managers of municipalities as is provided for in Regulation 493 dated 15 June 2007. Registration with a recognized relevant professional body will be an added advantage

TRAFFIC OFFICER: TRAFFIC LAW ENFORCEMENT – THEEWATERSKLOOF MUNICIPALITY

Salary: Post Level: T09 – Between R173 712.00 p.a. and R225 444.00 p.a.

Description

The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a relevant traffic qualification (NQF level 4) with 1 – 2 year’s relevant experience. A valid code B driver’s license. Valid SAPS clearance certificate valid for six months. * No criminal record (important – valid SAPS clearance certificate or proof of application of clearance certificate must accompany application – Applicants must provide a valid police clearance certificate not older than 6 months on the day of the interview – applicants who does not provide the valid clearance certificate on the day of the interview will automatically be disqualified). Applicants must be willing to work flexi-time hours. Effective communication skills in at least two (2) of the three (3) official languages in the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa.

Description

The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a Senior Certificate with three (3) years administrative experience in the field of traffic registration and licensing on a supervisory level. A valid code B driver’s license. Specialized knowledge of administrative procedures in the eNATIS system and Traffic legislation. Must be computer literate. Must be able to communicate effectively in at least two (2) of the three (3) official languages namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. Must have good leadership skills. Candidates must be able to work overtime. Knowledge of payments to Department of Transport, DLCA & SABS and reconciliation of payments. Description

The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a senior certificate. A Traffic Officer’s Diploma. Applicants must be registered as an Examiner of driving licenses Grade L. Must have a Code B or EB driver’s license. Must be trained and have a full understanding of the of the latest procedure manual for NaTIS operators. Have a sound knowledge of the Road Traffic and the National Road Traffic Act. Must have knowledge of the Provincial regulations. Computer literary. Must be able to communicate in at least two (2) of the three (3) official languages in the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. No criminal record. Valid SAPS clearance certificate valid for six months. * (important – valid SAPS clearance certificate or proof of application of clearance certificate must accompany your application) Applicants must provide a valid police clearance certificate not older than 6 months on the day of the interview – applicants who does not provide the valid clearance certificate on the day of the interview will automatically be disqualified).

DEPUTY DIRECTOR: FINANCE (Special Projects and Financial Sustainability)

Description

The envisaged candidate will be expected to be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or public administration together with 5 – 6 years substantial financial management experience. The most eligible candidate should also have in depth knowledge in the application of the principles, systems and regulations associated with specific acts of Local Government and broader financial regulations. A valid code B driver’s license. Highly proficient in using different computer programmes. Excellent communication skills in at least two (2) of the three (3) officials languages in the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. The successful candidate must comply with the Municipal Regulations on Minimum Competency.
